Paychecks and Privacy

So, I see Beth's point about "secret bonuses" being divisive. But I think she's missing the Fordhamites' point. To a lot of people, the idea that everyone in a workplace should know what everyone else makes because it's determined by a set of rules in a contract is a little wierd. Following Beth's suggestion to "take a moment to picture how this would play out in our own workplaces": I have no idea how much money Kevin, Elena, or Erin makes, nor do I particularly care. It's not really any of my business.
